Improper operation of the bodies organscan also be affected along with the central nervoussystem. Doctors believe that until the spinal fluid isallowed to naturally flow through the body, only thencan the central nervous system and other major bodyorgans function properly. If the muscles remain intheir unbalanced state this could put a person at riskfor injury or illness.

A CST therapy session will generally last approximately 20 minutes. A session can last up an hour, depending on the severity of the clients condition. CST has also be known to aid in numerous health concerns, such as migraine headaches, sinus disorders and immune deficiencies. Cranio-sacral therapy is also used as a preventative therapy for clients with low-immunity problems.

Cronic headaches can also be treated with several CST sessions. If the client is experiencing more serious health conditions that cause severe pain or a chronic disease the CST sessions should be carried over to a series of weekly sessions.
