Copyrite Laws
23 May 2011Copyright laws are really simple. You write it, its yours. Someone copies your work then your copyright is infringed and legal actions may be pursued.
Massage-Exam.com got its start in 2007, all of our information has been gathered from many sources, the facts are facts. This bone connects to this bone, this nerve services this area and this muscle moves this way. The exams that are necessary to pass in order to obtain a license to practice Massage are original works and are therefore copyrighted. I don’t know maybe its just me but when I was preparing to become a MT I wanted to KNOW the information. So I studied hard and tried to make as many connections as possible with the information provided. When I went to test, I am sure I wanted a cheat sheet to pass (Its a Nerve Racking experience trying to remember a full years of information for one 2 1/2 hours exam), but I was confident that what I had been taught would be sufficient.
My point is that I personally wouldn’t want someone to come along and GIVE me the answers to the exam, I would feel like all my hard work was for nothing. I would truly want to test my knowledge and see if I can use what Ive learned to pass the exam based on my hard work and accumulated knowledge.
So it hurts when I am asked if our questions are the exact same questions that will be seen on their respective exam. The answer is no, the content is similar and the structure of the exam is the same, but our database consists of the basics of massage so that you may review your accumulated knowledge and be able to test your working knowledge.
I find it sad when I hear that other online sites or books that are available to the Massage students claim to have the exact questions of the exams. What good is that???.. Here are the answers memorize them and you will pass. Don’t worry about applying your skills and knowledge acquired to truly test your brain. You want to love what you do, be true to your self and test without cheating.
