Massage and Homework

26 October 2010

In my office, we are geared to work more on the therapeutic with a little relaxation or strictly treatment work. Most clients will ask me what they can do at home to improve restrictions they may have. When a client requests this, I will give them homework. For some it is easy to implement it into their daily routine, but for others it is not so easy to start a routine.

It always surprises me when very active clients tell me they only stretch for about 2 minutes before or after there workout, or none at all. Then when I turn to myself and look at what my routine is I am also surprised, I truly need to practice what I preach. It is always easier to tell other people what to do than to take your own advice in that same area of life. I find it interesting how we can see so “clearly” of others but have no clue whatsoever about ourselves.

Here is to checking ourselves out. :) ?- If I was my client what would I tell myself if I had this issue?
