Massage Exams In Spanish

16 September 2010

Both the NCETMB/NCETM and the MBLEx are now available in Spanish. The Federation has translated their whole site as well. That’s useful! The NCBTMB just has the application in Spanish at this time. Our Massage-exam.com or Masaje-Examen.com site is up and functioning now, but not yet fully loaded. I am so excited, we have been working on it for over a year now.

In order to take these exams in Spanish you must first ask your state if they accept the results from your translated version, then you may apply in Spanish to either the MBLEx or the NCETMB/NCETM.

I called and emailed each state to see if they accepted the translated version and most said, “If it is given by the Federation or the NCBTMB, then ‘yes’ we will.” All of the states were unaware of this option being available, and some said they would get back to me after their next board meeting. I have the responses on the Masaje homepage and will be updating it as the word gets out. If you check your state on my list and it says ‘no,’ call the board and question why. See if you can’t change their minds. I think most said ‘no’ because they had no clue. The states that gave me ‘no’ response are left blank, but I will be persistent.
