Time Saver’s

2 December 2009

In between clients I have a 15 to 30 min break, however, due to the fact that a client runs late or I work an extra minute or two on an area, sets me back and puts it at 10 to 3 minutes between clients. I have been taught that folding your sheets a certain way optimizes the amount of time spent on the table change over. The paperwork can be printed out and worked on as soon as more time is available, but not washing your hands????

I read this article, it talks about MT’s not washing but using hand sanitizer instead. Just think about this for a minute. If you are going in for a massage would you like to know that your therapists washes their hands really well compared to just using hand sanitizer? I know I would prefer the hand washing any day. Not only your hands but your forearms and lotion or oil bottle as well.

Another question is how often is your blanket washed? Is it like a hotel where the comforter is only washed once a year? Keeping clean means keeping healthy. Never take the shortcut, take the time and wash yourself and keep the room clean.
