Strong Foundations
16 September 2009In my three years as a professional Massage Therapist, I have worked in the field and online. The vast information that is available is unlimited and can occupy ones mind for their whole life and still not have the full knowledge of all the modalities associated with massage and bodywork. Massage is a growing industry, many therapists have worked hard for many years to establish a strong foundation for us new-comers. I appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into this endeavor. Their is much that still must be done, but new organizations are springing up that give me hope and strength. The Federation (FSMTB) and the Alliance (AFMTE) are two such organizations.
It’s nice to know that we have strong organizations fighting in our corner for recognition in the Health Care world. Thanks to them all.
