Massage Magazines
22 April 2009The four most popular Massage Magazines are the Massage & Bodywork by ABMP, MassageMag by Massage Magazine, MTJ by AMTA and Massage Today by MPA. Two out of the four are associations for Professional Insurance, the AMTA out of Illinois and ABMP based out of Colorado. The MPA or Magazine Publishers of America is established out of New York and publishes Acupunture Today, Nutritional Wellness, To Your Health, ChiroWeb, Spa therapy, Naturopathy Digest and other Chiropratic media. Massage Magazine also has Future LMT, StudentDC, and ChiroEco.
I feel that we as massage therapists are always learning. Once that school basic curriculum is our foundation, we are always striving to learn more conncted with the body and ways to improve its Health. Some of us are forced by CE’s (so I heard) but I truelly cant wait to learn more. I started out with the ABMP issue and I now receive the AMTA MassageMag, both great resources but finding the time to read them is an issue. I would love to have all of these publications just for reference and learning, but where would I put them?
