Barter Much!
4 March 2009Bartering, Trade exchanges or Swapping, whatever you call it, you must remember that it is taxable just like a cash transaction. As Massage Therapists or any other professional could find it very easy to not report it to the IRS, if we want to be treated as the professionals we are, then we must obey all the laws.
Our businesses might be slowing but so are many others. It never hurts to ask for a barter. Knowing your neighbors profession or searching the many online services could be beneficial in this time of uncertainty. Here is a list I have complied of all the online barter sites, check them out you may be surprised.
