Exclusive States For The MBLEx
22 August 2008The MBLEx is exclusively used in Arkansas, Oregon and Next May Florida. The NCBTMB was not happy with this new information. They actually are trying to stop Florida from becoming exclusive because they think the FSMTB wont be able to handle the large amount of Therapists that require testing each year. The other reason on their 60-page affidavit is that the Vice President of the FSMTB is the Director of Florida’s State Massage Board.
Or is it that they are feeling the squeeze and now realize they should have taken the Federations offer of working with them to make a more comprehensive exam for licensure requirements. Hummm, do you think they are regretting this rash decision? I would have to say oh yes they are.
