Pack Up Your Massage Chair For A Health Fair
6 February 2008Check with your local business commerce for opportunities to take part in getting your name out there. If you are not part of a business affiliate group in your city, find out what you can do to start your own.
Traveling with other healthcare providers, for example a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist to local businesses to help educate their employees is a great way to get your name out there. Larger companies even have a budget set aside for employee education.
Just another avenue to check out.
February Massage Specials
5 February 2008February already and the New Year isn?t so new anymore. If you haven?t already you should have made your Valentine specials for gift certificates to give to loved ones. A simple flyer that you can modify each year can be placed in supermarkets and even on your shop window.
You can mention your special to your regular clients and give them incentives for purchasing or having them refer anyone who purchases Gift Certificates from you.
Our office just made a change from large 3×8 Gift certificates that fit inside an envelope to business card size that can fit in a custom paper sleeve or customers wallets. They are quit sleek.
What other things have you done to attract business this time of year?
Massage Business Taxes
4 February 2008I Love being in business for myself, this is the first year however to file taxes so I hope I am doing it right. I have signed up on e-file for my state taxes every quarter. All I have to do for state is report the earnings and pay the taxes, but federal is another story.
I have used TurboTax for several years with much success for personal and last year I reported a small amount of business income but I am getting all the 1099s from the insurance companies that have paid me this year and haven’t gotten to that section of my taxes.
Does anyone know of an easier way, or is this the way to go?
