AMTA Massage Associations
13 February 2008I am just wondering how many of the Massage Associations are started and maintained by the American Massage Therapy Association (founded in 1943). So far I have found that the NCBTMB National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, the MTF Massage Therapy Foundation and COMTA Commission of Massage Therapy Accreditation are.
Does anyone know of any others? I will look into it some more, because it is interesting that an insurance company can run these organizations and not have other motives. I don’t know, just my way of thinking. I may be wrong but they have been around for a while and things are not run the way they should be.
