Mississippi Massage Board Accepting The MBLEx

19 November 2007

We can now add Mississippi to the ranks of the FSMTB Exam participants. This now brings the total to 10.

I am sure it won’t be long until all the states in the Federation are accepting the MBLEx. I am hoping these rapid changes will bring in more state boards and agencies to the FSMTB. From the looks of things I don’t think it is difficult to see the value of the necessity of the Federation, it’s a huge benefit for everyone involved in Massage Therapy.

Has anyone tried acupuncture? My doctor recommended it but I’m really nervous about it.

Any tips? Any dangers I should know about?

    Thanks!

Acupuncture is awesome. Search online or go to the library skim through the information to get a good base for the 4000 year old medicine and find a good Licensed Practitioner that will take the time to answer any questions you have.

You don’t have to believe in the modality in order for it to work. All you must do is relax and take a nap not minding the teeny tiny needles, no bigger then the circumference of a hair, telling yourself you will receive benefits far greater then just covering up your issue with medications.

Treatments have better results if followed through to the end. One treatment is not a cure all and if there are life style changes to be made, make them. The treatments effects will be multiplied.

Good Luck and enjoy a new experience. Just a side note Western Medicine has been around hundreds of years and has contributed greatly to the science. However hundreds verses thousands makes me love acupuncture and its benefits even more.
