I started my massage business
21 April 2007Graduates Dismissed
I don’t know about anyone else, but I was stunned to find out exactly how hard it is to get what you want out of your Massage training.
When I signed up to pursue a career in massage, I felt that they were telling me what I wanted to here and not what I should have heard. “You can make your own hours”, “make tons of money”, “find a job anywhere” and “be your own boss”. All these things are true, but just because you have an education in giving Massages, dosen’t make these things fall into your lap. It’s a matter of educating oneself to the time it takes to get you to that point.
If you are in the process of deciding if you want a career in Massage or you are about to graduate, here are things to know. Number one, no one is going to hand you your own business for free. Starting your own business in Massage is just like starting any other business. It takes hard work, brainstorming and money. The main thing that is said about starting a business is that it becomes profitable within three to five years.
